Now that NASA's Phoenix lander has discovered ice on the red planet, will scientists be able to detect any evidence of life forms frozen within Martian ice by July 15th?

Google announced that it will give $20 million to the first privately-funded organization that can put a rover on the moon, have it travel 500 meters or more, and send back data, video, and photos. Competitors must complete this task by Dec. 31, 2012 (about 4.5 years away) to receive the full amount. Only $15 million will be awarded after that date, or go away completely by 2014.

Will an organization accomplish this feat? If so, when?
